The cyberpunk aesthetic has been influencing games for a long time. Within this past year, titles like Cyberpunk 2077 dives right into that niche. Alongside other titles like Ghostrunner, which uses the theming to enhance their robotic characters and world much more. Being a fairly simple to understand parkour action title, Ghostrunner has been making quite the debut on PC. Launching last October to critical praise for its gameplay and atmosphere. After two DLC packs already launched for the title earlier this year, the team is still eagerly creating new colors and cosmetics for Ghostrunner. With a sequel already in production, the colorful cosmetic DLC packs add much more aesthetic than the base games cosmetics. Announced today alongside other Gamescom 2021 announcements was the reveal of the Ghostrunner Neon Pack DLC trailer showcasing the new katana colors and playable modes coming soon.

What Does the New Ghostrunner DLC Trailer Show?

The trailer gives a decent look at some of the new cosmetics and modes set to release sometime soon. While the trailer did not specify a date, there were plenty of features showcased. In the new Ghostrunner DLC trailer, the flashy and bright neon pack colors lighting up the cyberpunk sky so elegantly. Like with many other updates to Ghostrunner, the new wave mode and assist mode will be a part of a free update. Alongside that, the recent DLC is sure to spice up the Ghostrunner formula for quite some time. With upgrades for each wave completed, the mode will be an interesting test of roguelike endurance for only the best runners.
