The HyperX Cloud Stinger is really sturdy which is surprising given the small price tag. The padding is soft and cups around your ear rather than laying on top of it. Again, great if you wear glasses.
The volume button is easy to get to so you can adjust the volume without having to awkwardly reach around the headset while you’re wearing it. The biggest problem that you’ll have with this headset is the audio quality.
It’s fine at lower volumes but the louder you crank it the more distorted the sound gets. It can get quite painful.
3.) Corsair HS35
If you don’t want a bunch of cord in the way while you’re playing then this is going to be the most affordable headset while also being good. It has memory foam cups that make it super comfortable.
They can pump out 7.1 surround sound which is pretty solid given the price you’ll pay for them.
4.) HyperX Cloud Alpha
The sound on this one is a little bit better than the HyperX Cloud Stinger. You won’t have to deal with as many distortions anyway. Despite this, it doesn’t have surround sound.
Even without it, the bass is really good and the stereo sound is good enough to make up for the lack of surround sound.
5.) Logitech G Pro
The Logitec G Pro will be perfect for you if you tend to game for hours on end. It’s comfortable to wear so you’ll barely feel like it’s on. The mic is removable so you can take it off when you’re not talking to your friends online.
It gives off a heavy bass sound that’s really good for the price. The biggest problem that you may run into is the weird in-line controls.
6.) Astro A10
These Astro A10 gaming headphones are a great mixture of stylish and sturdy. It’s lightweight and the earcups are made with memory foam so it’s pretty comfortable to wear as well. If you have big ears though the earcups may fit a bit too snug and could get uncomfortable.
The sound that you’ll get out of them will be nice and crisp. You’ll be able to clearly hear your teammates talking to you and your enemies sneaking up on you.
7.) Plugable HS53
The Plugable HS53 has a ton of features for less than 50 dollars. The frame that connects the earcups is made of sturdy metal. Speaking of the ear cups, they are memory foam so they are comfortable for long gaming sessions.
The mic is retractable instead of removable which can be handy or bad depending on what your needs are and what you prefer. It’s lightweight so you’ll barely realize it’s resting on your head.
It has in-line controls and it has cross-platform support. The only hangup you’ll find is that there is no option for USB.
8.) Razer Man O’War
Everything on the Razer Man O’War’s is fitted to be on them which makes it easy for you to take them anywhere you need to. It’s easy to set them up so you won’t be fussing with them for hours on end.
They will give you one of the best surround sound experiences out of most of the cheaper headsets floating around out there. They are bulky so it makes them annoying to wear after a while though.
They aren’t uncomfortable per se but after wearing them for several hours at a time, they may start to get a bit annoying. They have a USB cord that allows you to connect them up to about any device.
