These two first appeared in season 8, where they learned they were pregnant. The two recently traveled to Europe to visit Yara’s mother. Moreover, some fans found his behavior toward his wife on this trip to be terrible. When he should have been supportive, he acted like a Chad most of the time. Which is even worse when you realize she and her family are dealing with the Ukraine issues.
When she needed him to be the most grounded for her, he failed. This has not been sitting well with fans. Not long after, people already called him out for his American privilege. Something he seems well aware and doesn’t care. That, in a nutshell, is why they all think Yara deserves better.
