It’s a brutal moment of bittersweet. On one hand, you are elated and excited about one part of the news. On the other hand, the other news is so sad you can’t even be as excited about the good news. But to her credit, Deavan Clegg is staying strong and hopeful and poised amid all the chaos. Not even sure we would be nearly as strong were we in her shoes.
Sadly, her son Taeyang contracted leukemia. But she has been vigilant in his care and is even asking followers and fans for their prayers during this trying time. She has been taking to social media to let people know about the updates on her pregnancy and the health of little Taeyang.

In a recent Instagram post, she shared a cute video of her son exploring an aquarium and wrote, “Taeyang is doing well and fighting cancer the best he can.” She then apologized to her fans for not being active on social media and revealed that the circumstances have made it hard for her to “get online and update everyone.” Deavan then heartbreakingly wrote that her “high risk” pregnancy and Taeyang’s situation almost pushed her to give up. However, she added that she’s regaining her strength and will keep everyone posted.
