Although 90 Day Fiancé star Natalie Mordovtseva looks genuinely confused about who to choose between Mike Youngquist and Josh Weinstein, the Ukrainian beauty might have a secret ulterior motive. Fans of 90 Day Fiancé first met Natalie in season 8 of the reality show when she appeared with her partner Mike. Mike, recently divorced, had flown to Ukraine to meet Natalie for the first time after falling for her once he saw the professional model’s pictures. However, after proposing to Natalie in Paris and waiting until the day her K-1 visa would expire before marrying her, the couple’s relationship became strained as the days rolled by.

Mike and Natalie would eventually break up after a misunderstanding where Mike’s mum Trish called Natalie a hooker. Shortly after leaving Mike, Natalie started dating Josh Weinstein, a modeling agency CEO. Although the pair had a rough start to their relationship, which included disagreements over having kids, they stuck together during their appearance in the spin-off 90 Day: The Single Life. For a while, it looked like Natalie and Josh had found common ground in their relationship; however, that narrative changed when the Ukrainian model hinted she might get back with ex-husband Mike during the 90 Day: The Single Life season finale.

Natalie Made Decisions Quite Easily on 90-Day Fiancé

During Natalie’s engagement and eventual marriage to Mike, the Ukrainian model spoke about how lonely and misunderstood she felt. Natalie and Mike also had conflicting beliefs, which made their relationship sometimes untenable. Still, during this period, Natalie showed her firm decision-making skills when the model decided to leave Mike without giving it a second thought.

Also, just a few days after Natalie met Josh, the Ukrainian model was ready to start a serious relationship with him. Although Josh wanted to take things slowly, Natalie tried to make them as fast as possible. Still, for the most part, the couple looked committed to one another and determined to figure things out. However, Natalie’s tunes changed when she learned that her ex-husband Mike had helped her mother escape Ukraine. Afterward, Natalie visited Mike and surprisingly confessed she still had feelings for him and would love to move in with him again. Her declaration surprised most people who previously believed she was over Mike.

There Is a Noticeable Pattern to Natalie’s Hesitancy

After Natalie spoke of her lingering feelings for Mike, many viewers felt the Ukrainian model would leave Josh and return to her ex-husband. However, when the trio appeared together in 90 Day: The Single Life season 3 tell-all special, Natalie’s story surprisingly changed again. According to People, when asked to choose between Mike and Josh, Natalie refused to make a definite commitment and confused viewers more, saying:

Meanwhile, Josh also admitted he wasn’t sure of Natalie’s intentions and the state of her relationship with Mike because even though they are separated, the two still talk to each other every. While Josh and Mike are trying to reevaluate their relationship with Natalie, the Ukrainian model isn’t helping with her conflicting statement and behavior. Throughout her stint in the 90 Day universe, Natalie has consistently made up her mind during tricky situations. However, her recent indecisiveness looks like an attempt to keep Josh and Mike at her behest while they both figure out who she would ultimately end up with.

“I don’t know, it’s strange. He’s been there for me for seven years. He’s not going out of my life. I don’t know how you call it. But do I love him? I don’t know. [The] pain he went through because of me — if I love him for sure, could I do this to him? I don’t know.”
