90 Day: The Single Life star Ed “Big Ed” Brown is accusing his fiancée, Elizabeth “Liz” Woods, of forcing marriage down his throat. Fans of the 90 Day Franchise have followed Big Ed and Liz’s relationship since the couple debuted on the reality series. The couple’s rollercoaster relationship has provided a lot of dramatic and emotional moments in the reality series. The duo has dealt with several breaks, make-ups, and some toxicity, which makes their long-standing relationship all the more surprising.
Still, it looked like Big Ed and Liz were finally going to take the next step in their relationship when the latter recently shared a picture with Ed’s mother, Norma. During an episode of 90 Day: The Single Life season 2, Big Ed disclosed Norma and his daughter were against his relationship with Liz because she was much younger than him. Finally, Liz looked to have gotten through to Norma when she posted an image of the two on her Instagram story with the caption “Cookie Decorating With Granny” as they celebrated Thanksgiving together. Getting Norma’s blessing looked like the last step for the couple to tie the knot finally. However, just weeks after Thanksgiving, Big Ed and Liz have thrown further doubts on the future of their relationship.
Big Ed Accuses Liz Of Forcing Marriage on Him
During the recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Big Ed and Liz argued and clashed over the future of their relationship. While discussing their plans, Liz spoke about her expectations for their marriage per People.
Meanwhile, Big Ed explained he was not ready to marry anyone, including his fiancée Liz. The 90 Day Fiancé star noted he could not give Liz a reply on marriage before later claiming marrying her at this stage of their relationship would be a “contract for divorce.” Despite every effort by Liz to clarify their relationship’s future, Big Ed consistently refused to talk about it. At one point, he interrupted Liz by claiming, “I’m not going to be pressured into getting married.” Liz would later leave the room angrily after Big Ed continuously opposed talking about their marriage. Finally, speaking to the cameras after leaving the room, Liz said:
“I think marriage has been weighing on my mind a lot. I would like to eventually start seeing if it’s gonna be in our future.”
Liz Isn’t Sure Relationship With Big Ed is Healthy
“Ed proposed to me and I want a life with Ed. Maybe now it is coming to an ultimatum on my end. I think Ed and I are too different to make this work long-term.”
Weeks before Big Ed and Liz’s heated encounter on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? the couple had gone house hunting. Although the house was out of their budget, it got the couple reevaluating the state of their relationship. Liz was especially concerned about feeling more excellent emotional stability in her relationship.
Liz’s unstable and uncertain relationship with Big Ed has not provided her with any stability. The 90-Day star also risks losing her child Riley to the father who would be re-stated abroad. Her relationship instability also left her thinking about how she would be able to give Riley a stable future.
