Marie Osmond’s weight loss journey is full of determination, self-love, and willingness to stay healthy and active, experiencing the best moments of life. Osmond grew up in the spotlight. But first, it was her older brothers, The Osmond Brothers, who gained fame by performing in religious centers and later on the world stage.

But once the ABC star began making music, her sensational bird voice amassed an overwhelming audience. At 13, she recorded Paper Roses, which topped the charts. Simultaneously, she became her brother, Donny’s singing partner. With their complimenting voices and synergy, they recorded hit tracks and appeared on TV shows.

Amid her success, the singer did not escape being bullied. The songstress admitted that she was body shamed as a teenager. This forced her to shed some pounds after going through a rigorous diet. But the constant taunting affected her mental health. Thankfully, as an adult, she handled things differently. Marie Osmond’s weight loss journey took a new turn when she subscribed to Nutrisystem.

Marie Osmond’s Weight Loss Journey

Marie Osmond felt relaxed after she had kids and did not pay attention to her weight until her eldest son begged her to lose weight.

Following the rude awakening, the CBS star was announced as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. That was when she decided to try out to lose some pounds. This time without starvation, Marie Osmond’s weight loss journey began with Nutrisystem. During the program, she learned not to despise food.

Rather than starve as she did as a teenager, Marie maintained a disciplined pattern, cutting down on her portions and watching what she ate. In no time, she redefined her relationship with food, and the Paper Roses crooner shed a few pounds. Since her time with Nutrisystem, Marie Osmond has lost fifty pounds.

While speaking to Fox News, Marie Osmond acknowledged that losing weight has blessed her with more active and healthy years. At 63, she still spends time doing what she loves best. Also, the singer is very present for her family including her kids and grandkids.
