Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is the newest entry in the Dragon Age series, and while it doesn’t have an official release date yet, we are getting closer. This comes from EA, who has announced that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has hit an Alpha milestone.
The Bioware Dragon Age Twitter states, “The Dragon Age team is incredibly excited to announce a huge step forward in the development of #Dreadwolf.” With the Alpha milestone reached, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is now completely playable from start to finish. However, this does not mean a public alpha will be available outside the development team.
The development team can focus on other aspects of the game. This includes visuals, characters, pacing, and more. Essentially, the base pillars of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf are finished, and Bioware can focus on fine-tuning and making adjustments as needed.
With the last Dragon Age game, Dragon Age: Inquisition, released in 2014, it has been almost ten years since fans have been able to play a new entry in the series. With luck, Bioware and EA will be able to finish up Dragon Age: Dreadwolf quickly and give fans a new journey to experience.
