Since the release and warm reception of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, fans have been clamoring for more from the hilariously spooky franchise and it looks like those wishes may be getting answered in the form of a new Ghostbusters video game.
Ernie Hudson, who plays Winston Zeddemore in the movies, said during a recent Q&A panel that he is currently in the process of recording dialogue for a new Ghostbusters video game.

In the video, he says that he is currently scheduling sessions to do the recordings for the game and that Dan Aykroyd is also working on the new game. Unfortunately for Bill Murray fans, Hudson isn’t sure if Murray will be doing anything for the new Ghostbusters game at all.
When pressed for more information, Ernie confesses that he doesn’t know too much about the details of the game. He says he is “too old to worry about stuff” and that he just shows up to “do what I do”.
Hudson also specified that he doesn’t know when the new Ghostbusters game will be released. Although he said that he is being sent character models of himself from the developers that “end up looking like Eddie Murphy” as they are struggling to capture his likeness.
Presumably, this game is the same one that was mentioned back in October. Raphael Saadiq, a co-founder of Illfonic, the developer of the Friday the 13th game, let slip that his studio is working on a new Ghostbusters game. Considering the timing, it’s likely that these two projects are one and the same. Hopefully, there will be an official reveal and more details released about the game soon.
