There were strange happenings in the first film. The characters played by Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively made an odd pair. Once Emily disappears, Stephanie is not just concerned about her well-being, but she gets cozy with Sean (Henry Golding). Sean is Emily’s oblivious and naive husband. The Lionsgate black comedy film has many twists and turns. Considering Emily is in prison at the end of the first film, it’s unknown what role she’ll play in A Simple Favor 2. Stephanie moved on with her life with more confidence than at the start of the film. Neither Lionsgate nor Lionsgate has released plot details for the sequel to the black comedy thriller film. Emily and Stephanie were not on good terms, so A Simple Favor 2 could be about revenge. What is known from the first film is that Emily can hold a grudge.
