Hide your kids, hide your wife as Activision isn’t playing games. The tables have turned as Call of Duty’s publisher has gone hunting a Reddit user down over a leak.

Activision is taking their shooter to heart as the company searches for the forum user as if they’re Bin Laden. Recent reports say the company is using the Digital Millennium Copyright against Reddit to give up information and “identify alleged infringers” regarding the leaked upcoming Call of Duty content.

The user in question is Redditor u/Assyrian2410 after they posted a now-deleted image in a thread. The since-deleted account’s post basically showed the game’s unnamed battle royale mode.

The game mode is titled Warzone, and Activision has spent weeks handing out DMCA takedowns like its candy. The Warzone game mode was teased in the trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 2.

All The Cool Kids Are Doing It

As of this writing, Reddit hasn’t mentioned or gave up the user’s identity yet. The company has a lot to consider as if they give into Activision’s demands; this could not only set a precedent but discourage others away from the service.
