It was rumored recently that Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 would be getting new fighters announced this week, and it’s true. Akuma and Taskmaster have been confirmed for the upcoming fighter.
Akuma the fabled nemesis of Ryu on the Capcom side, and Taskmaster the skull faced super villain from Marvel lore will both be included in the game as unlockable characters.
The game which releases on February 15th will feature the unlockable fighters by unlocking points which are earned through various methods within the game.
Playing through arcade, vs, or training modes will net you the characters, and Capcom believes that they will be unlocked for most players within a few hours of play. Sweet.
