It has been confirmed that Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon are holding their horses as it draws near to begin the latest season of Britain’s Got Talent. What fans of Britain’s Got Talent have been used to for the past decade is seeing entertainment mogul Simon Cowell alongside his co-judges, David Williams, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon.

But this year’s installation has a different template. Reportedly, Bruno Tonioli will replace Williams. The Strictly Come Dancing judge is to begin filming on January 24 at the London Palladium.

The Italian choreographer will be receiving £850, which is an unbelievable raise from his precious salary in Strictly Come Dancing. He earned £250 on the dance show but would be receiving the same salary as fellow judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

While this may be good news for Tonioli, his teammates do not seem amazed by the news. In fact, their reaction is leaving a tense atmosphere as the show is set to resume filming this week.

Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon Refuse to Agree On Tonioli’s Salary

Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon have each spent seventeen and ten years, respectively, judging talents on the high-rating TV show. Reportedly, their salary stands at £850, the same as Tonioli, who is a newbie on the seats of the panelist. The duo seems to be upset with this new development.

The women feel it is unfair treatment to be paid the same sum as the newest judge, and they have refused to renew their contract. An insider claimed:

These two fans’ favorites have been announced as this year’s panelists despite the in-house fracas. But fans have had to say goodbye to Williams. Sources alleged that he made some condescending remarks which caused him to butt out before receiving the consequences.

His vacancy left room for another judge and while ITV bosses rooted for comedian Alan Carr, the boss, Cowell, overruled, bringing his friend, Tonioli, on board. Carr was devastated by the loss, as he had already prepared for the show. Tonioli is on cloud nine over the new job offer.
