In Final Fantasy XIV, Blue Mage is a Limited Job. Limited Jobs are side content that can’t usually take part in high-level raids or dungeons. Instead, it’s more of a fun and overpowered job that’s great to play with if you’re looking for something different.
The Blue Mage unlocks abilities by defeating mobs. Once you defeat a mob that has a Blue Mage-learnable ability, you have a chance of unlocking the corresponding spell. In total, there are currently 104 total spells to learn.
There are multiple ways to unlock Blue Mage spells, including Dungeons, Raids, Trials, fighting mobs in the Open World, buying them for Whalaqee Tokens (which are unlocked as part of the Blue Mage story), and the Blue Mage exclusive Masked Carnivale. Below is a list of every Blue Mage spell, where to unlock it, and how to unlock it.
That’s all the Blue Mage spells that are currently in the game. Blue Mage, as a Limited Job, usually sees updates toward the end of an Expansion’s lifespan. Expect to seem more Blue Mage spells added later on in Endwalker.
