Apex Legends tends to make many changes that affect a wide variety of players, but the developers are also working hard to update private matches and the tournament scene. A lot of the Private Match changes are great for Quality of Life and bug fixing, though a couple of new functions have been added too. Let’s take a look.

Observer Mode Changes

  • In Free Cam you can now toggle the Kill Feed on and offRing Visibility on the Minimap has been fixedKill calculations for the Status & Stats screen have been fixed

Application Programming Interface (API) Changes

  • Now shows what is currently equipped by a player via new weaponSwitchedsquadEliminated and matchStateEnd now have player namesobserverSwitched now has squadmate namesItem no longer appear as UnrecognizedcharacterSelected event will now properly populateThe Unique Player IDs from the Real-Time API are now also in the Post-Game API

General Changes

  • Teams with default names now have better Stats Summary generationClub features are now disabled in Private Matches
