One of the most enticing mechanics for Age of Empires IV is the list of pseudo-achievements called masteries. The Chinese Mastery list encourages players to explore all the mechanics of the Chinese civilization, with particular focus on one of the civilization’s greatest advantages: its technological advancements.
Upon completing each task in the Chinese Mastery list, you are rewarded with 1000 experience points. You unlock information about the history of people, places, and things that influence the course of history.
