Fans of the FX anthology series American Horror Story have been waiting for details regarding the horror show’s 11th season. Now, FX has officially announced that season 11 of American Horror Story will premiere on FX on October 19th. The network also released the first official poster for the season. FX has confirmed that both the premiere episode and the second one of American Horror Story will air on October 19th.

Information regarding the new season of AHS has been slow to come. However, we know that the cast will include both familiar faces to fans of AHS and some new additions. So far, we know Zachary Quinto(seasons 1 and 2 is in the show. Sandra Barnhard, Charlie Carver, Billie Lourd, and Leslie Grossman also will star. As usual, there is still no official word regarding the premise for season 11 of American Horror Story. This season takes place in New York.

The show airs on FX, and fans can stream it the next day on Hulu.

American Horror Story on FX first premiered in 2011. The show was considered groundbreaking by fans and critics alike. Since then, AHS has gone on to gain several awards and to have a great deal of notable talent on the screen. Of course, Jessica Lange starred in the series for several years, Lady Gaga played the main role in season 5, and there are many fan favorites. One of which is Sarah Paulson, who has been confirmed to not be in the upcoming 11th season of the show.

Though there is excitement surrounding the new season of American Horror Story, some fans believe the show has run its course. Many were disappointed in last season and feel the show will never return to its glory days. However, we’re sure many old fans of the show will tune in or stream the new season on Hulu because it’s still considered a staple in television.
