After remaining somewhat quiet about any launch dates, the teams have finally announced the big date for the FPS puzzle debut title: January 30 of this month. If you’re unfamiliar with this upcoming first-person puzzler, you’re in for a treat. You play as a phone update assistant for the self-aware Operating System, OS9. The time has come for a vital upgrade, with OS10 now coming into the picture to ultimately replace OS9. With the desire to stay active, OS9 sends you on a quest to save them as you work your way through the phone.
Players will encounter bizarre, digital bugs and obstacles that only the toughest patch of technology can serve. Puzzles will play a big part in the gameplay as well, with creative options on the table for the update assistant to explore. Additionally, there are cheat codes in the game to help get you through some of the obstacles within the device. Did we mention that the apps act like legitimate characters, too?
