Conan O’Brien’s long-running show “CONAN” set to end on June 24, 2021, after 11 years on the air. The show’s final week will include a special line-up of guests and will have an hour-long finale to look back at the lengthy late-night career of the talk show host. TBS’ parent company, WarnerMedia, said in November 2020 that Conan would end this summer. After June, O’Brien will focus on developing his new show on HBO Max, which will be a change from his current talk-show format while he will continue to host Conan Without Borders travel specials for TBS.
He began his career as a writer on Saturday Night Live and then The Simpsons in 1991. Conan O’Brien is the longest-serving late-night talk show host in the US and began his late-night career in 1993 with NBC’s Late Night. He has since hosted 3 Late-Night shows and has won four Emmy Awards and six Writers Guild Awards. “CONAN: Without Borders,” the Emmy Award-winning show, visited 13 countries all around the world. His award-winning podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend,” launched in 2018, currently has amassed over 185 million downloads.
Conan is also the head of the production company, Conaco, and Emmy winning digital brand, Team Coco. He successfully expanded his branded content, merchandise, and live events. Team Coco will now produce the new HBO Max’s weekly show.
