D’Amelio and Ballas performed a jive number that knocked the socks off the judges. Their freestyle dancing brought judge Derek Hough to tears. Windey and Chmerkovskiy’s Cha Cha in the ABC dance competition series finale also blew the judges away. As with previous seasons, there could only be one Mirrorball couple, and that went to Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas.

The duo grew into a strong team throughout Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars and ended as winners. Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas moved effortlessly together throughout the finale. It’s from their show tonight that solidified their win. Sure, Vinny Guadagnino’s elimination came as a surprise, but fans moved on. Brady and Carson danced to a mash-up of Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” and Ciara and Chamillionaire’s song “Get Up,” but it couldn’t save them from third place. Season 31 of the ABC dance competition series Dancing with the Stars showed so much talent and many upsets. The TikTok star D’Amelio was able to transfer her moves from the social media app to the competition with Ballas. This will certainly add to the reality television series The D’Amelio Show.
The episode ended with Cheryl Burke announcing her retirement after 25 seasons. Many celebrities that graced the dance floor in past seasons paid their tributes to Len Goodman at the end. Overall it was a bittersweet end to a strong season with familiar faces saying goodbye.
