Bend Studio, which has made its name with Days Gone, a production that has left its mark on the open-world history, has announced its new logo. Days Gone is an open-world game that first came to PS4, and that was later updated for PS5 and ended up landing on PC with a very elaborate adaptation.

Beyond a thorough review of its career, Bend Studio has announced that they are working on a new IP that will take place in a completely new and multiplayer open-world.

All we know about Bend Studio’s next big game is that has been told by Herman Hulst, CEO of PlayStation Studios, in June 2021. Hulst talked about a very exciting new IP that the developers are “very, very passionate” about. Furthermore, he confirmed that the game will be based on the open-world systems of Days Gone.

However, there are still players waiting for Days Gone 2. Unfortunately, the Days Gone sequel doesn’t seem to be coming out anytime soon. Although the game made a great contribution to Sony in a commercial report, it did not meet the expectations as much as the company’s other big-budget exclusives.

Sony allegedly transferred some of the employees at Bend Studios to Naughty Dog, the producer of The Last of Us and Uncharted. A special team at Bend has reportedly been helping out with a new Uncharted game.

Bend Studio started its life under the name Eidetic in 1994, and its first published project was Bubsy 3D. Thanks to its resolution and graphic quality, the studio was placed on Sony’s radar and was acquired by Japan company.
