Myha’la Herrold will star in the GameStop movie Dumb Money. Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Sebastian Stan, Pete Davidson, Shailene Woodley, Anthony Ramos, and more are also in the film. It’s based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Antisocial Network. It details the made and lost fortunes during the GameStop short squeeze. Craig Gillespie, who directed I, Tonya, and Cruella, will direct this GameStop movie. Myha’la Herrold will play a college girl that tries her hand at the stock market during the COVID-19 pandemic in Dumb Money. Her character stays updated on the latest stock news on Roaring Kitty’s YouTube channel. Other character details have not been publicized. Aaron Ryder under Ryder Picture Company, Teddy Schwarzman under Black Bear, and Gillespie are producing it. Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum adapted the script for the big screen. Sony has domestic and many international rights on the project.

The Industry star Myha’la Herrold will reunite with Bodies Bodies Bodies costar Pete Davidson for Dumb Money. Herrold has played Harper Stern in Season 1 and Season 2 in Industry. It follows young bankers and traders post-2008 recession. Stern has proved to be her breakout role. Dumb Money will be yet another role to show the talents of Myha’la Herrold. She will also star in the Netflix film Leave The World Behind opposite Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and Mahershala Ali. The project is directed by Sam Esmail created, wrote, and directed the series Mr. Robot. Herrold, the tough and crass Jordan in the comedy slasher film Bodies Bodies Bodies. There are no details on her character’s personality for the upcoming GameStop movie Dumb Money. The film has some big names so Herrold is in good company, and will be sure to put her mark on the film.
