Former DWTS contestant Lindsay Arnold has announced she is pregnant with her second child with her husband Samuel Lightner, People magazine has confirmed. They had been trying to conceive for quite some time now, first announcing their attempts on her joint YouTube channel, The Arnold Sisters, back in August. Their daughter, Sage Jill, was born on November 2, 2020.
DWTS alum Lindsay Arnold faced struggles along the way. At one point, she had received a positive test for her and her husband’s second kid. Only sometime after that, she had her period. Now all those struggles are behind her as she awaits to welcome the new addition to her family.

Family life has taken a priority for the star. She became known for the dancing reality series, which has since moved to a new home on Disney+. Due to a focus on having another child and having one already, she decided to step away from season 31, ending her decade run of dancing on TV. She called the choice “one of the hardest decisions” she has made.
Family life and entertainment are hard to juggle. Lindsay Arnold and her family live in Utah, but DWTS films in Los Angeles. Having to move, even for a temporary slot of time, was too much to ask this time around for her. The logistics were difficult enough, so she decided it would be best not to get on stage once again. Still, she has shown her support for the series has been moving along after a bumpy first few weeks due to some cases of COVID among the cast and crew.
