Today marks the 25 anniversary of the video game franchise. To celebrate, the company decided to give fans of the RPG sci-fi games a look at what to expect the Fallout live-action series will look like. Veterans of the games will see how authentic it looks from this first glimpse of the Vault costumes, the font of the number 33, and the entryway into Vault 33.

In the world of the games, Vault 33 is set in San Diego. It is one of the smallest built to save people the nuclear fallout as it contains six people living inside. Other games have shown how big they can be, with various rooms and people living inside. Not much is known about the show, but it will follow the same path as the games the world ends from nuclear war in the 1940s, and we go forward to the future to see how people have acclimated to this post-apocalyptic world.

The Fallout live-action series will star Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Aaron Moten (Disjointed), and Xelia Mendes-Jones for her first major acting role in a big series. Westworld co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy created the series and will both write the series based on the popular video games. They will executive produce with Athena Wickham, Todd Howard, and James Altman.

The series has no official release date. When it does, it will hit Prime Video sometime in 2023.
