Manny Montana (Good Girls) has joined the cast of Ironheart, an upcoming Marvel Studios series hosted on Disney Plus. as reported by Deadline. No details are known about his character. Dominique Thorne (Judas and the Black Messiah) headlines the Marvel Studios production, which is currently filming. She will play Riri Williams, a young tech genius who makes her version of the Iron Man armor. She will also be joined by Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) and Lyric Ross (This Is Us). Neither of their roles is known.

Samantha Bailey (You’re So Talented) and Angela Barnes (Gillian in Georgia) will direct the Thorne and Manny Montana Ironheart series. Chinaka Hodge, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and Zoie Nagelhout will executive produce. Black Panther director Ryan Coogler’s production company Proximity Media is one of the production companies attached to the series.

No release date or concrete details are known about Ironheart. With the current slate of Disney Plus Marvel shows set in stone, it should release sometime in 2023 or later. Right now, the streaming service is running Ms. Marvel, then will release She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and I Am Groot in August. Later down the road will be Secret Invasion, X-Men ’97, Armor Wars, another season of Loki and What If…?, Echo, Agatha: House of Harkness, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, Marvel Zombies, an untitled series in Wakanda, and Daredevil.
