A brief 30-second teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming Halo TV series coming to Paramount+. The first teaser features the iconic main character of Halo, Master Chief, who will be played by Pablo Schreiber. The trailer shows Schreiber donning the suit with shots showing the gloves, the 117 insignia, and a carving in his back that appears to resemble his helmet. The end of the trailer features a voice saying “Hello Master Chief,” which is most likely Cortana (Jen Taylor).

According to IGN, it seems like the trailer was meant to debut as a part of the Xbox 20th anniversary live stream that took place today, however, it was leaked ahead of time by Twitter user @dexertospartans who “reported that a teaser for the show was running on Facebook advertising.” Either way, Halo fans can get excited with this new teaser as it shows what Master Chief will look like in this upcoming series.

Other cast members involved with this series include Olive Gray, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Natasha Culzac, Kate Kennedy, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, and Bokeem Woodbine. According to Comic Book, the developer of the current and future Halo games, including Halo Infinite is involved in the production of the series. The Halo series has had some difficulty holding on to showrunners as Kyle Killen left the project last year and Steven Kane will finish season 1 but has not agreed to work on the show any further than that.

The Halo series was initially set to appear on Showtime, however, this new trailer confirms that it will be streaming exclusively on Paramount+. The teaser trailer also confirmed that the Halo series will be coming to the service in 2022. Halo fans should be excited to finally have the chance to see a live-action adaptation of this video game franchise.
