The official website for the television anime Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible has announced (and updated) the delay in all upcoming episodes. This is due to the effects of COVID-19 on the production schedule. The anime will re-air episodes starting from episode 1 in April. The season will be expected to continue as normal after the re-airing.

The anime first premiered on January 10th.  It also aires on Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS. Currently, HDIVE is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.

Kazuomi Koga (Rent A Girlfriend) is directing the  Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible anime at studio Pine JAM (Do it Yourself!). Yuya Takahashi (Lupin III: Part IV) oversees and writes the script for  Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible.

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible: A Not-So-Typical Love Story

Currently, the story is described as follows:

First-year high schooler Junta Shiraishi is a mob character who goes unnoticed even when he’s standing right next to you. But his classmate, “heroine-level beauty” Kubo, always notices him and is there to tease him. Anyone can be special to someone, but it might be a little too early to call these feelings “love”. Perhaps this story is still two steps from being a romantic comedy- let’s call it a sweet comedy where a background character becomes visible!

Nene Yukimori’s original Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible manga was published in October 2019. It was first published in Sheuisha’s Weekly Young Jump Magazine. The manga also available on Shonen Jump+’s website and app. Shueshia recently published the manga’s 11th volume on December 19th. Viz Media is releasing the Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible manga digitally and in print. MANGA Plus also has translations of the manga.

Currently, Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible is only available to stream on HDVIE. There is no confirmation if Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible will be on other platforms after the delay.
