Love Island star Will Young‘s death threats precede the real drama on the show and spurs his parents’ defense. The young blood has witnessed cancel culture via criticism and death threats—however, his parents are unrelenting in their support.

Fans cannot wait for Love Island’s newest season. The show that cupped millions of views last season, promises to be extra fun. This year, producers took it to South Africa and contracted the impeccable English TV personality, Maya Jama, who replaced Laura Whitmore.

Meanwhile, fans have met this year’s line up and the hopefuls have assured that they would be bringing their A-game. But before fans watch the contestants who many joked are clones from former seasons, intense drama is already brewing.

Sadly, this concerns a 23-year-old farm boy. After sharing clips and photos of his life behind the camera, he was trolled and threatened by critics. But following Will Young’s death threats, his parents rose in his defense, shunning the naysayers by praising their son.

Love Island‘s Will Young’s death threats were followed by bullying, as animal rights group PETA described him with condescending words. Recently, the 23-year-old updated his one million ‘loyals’ on Tik Tok with real-life farm videos. One of the clips that attracted reactions showed shirtless Will helping a pregnant sheep with his bare hands.

Another showed the Love Island contestant enthralled in the animal’s delivery process after the calf’s head and hooves became stuck. Some followers did not agree with his show of care, instead, they attacked him. Next, PETA, an animals rights group shared the video and tagged it:

Amid the social media crucifixion, Will’s parents stood solidly behind him, coming to his defense. His mother, Jenny, branded her son a “lovely, caring, young man.” While lounging on their 250 acres farm in Buckinghamshire, she hushed the trolls, claiming that they misinterpreted her son’s actions.

The family’s patriarch, Andrew added, “He wasn’t dancing around the sheep. The music was all added in the edit when he had finished work. Some people have no real idea of what a sheep farmer has to do.” Andrew praised his son for being a reliable farmer, adding that he has had to hire help following his absence.
