Shooting intimate scenes can be an awkward experience, but many actors find ways to make it work and be comfortable for all parties involved. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, My Policeman star David Dawson talked about shooting the sex scenes with Harry Styles.
When looking back on shooting the sex scenes with Harry Styles for My Policeman, David Dawson felt it was “one of the most special things” he got out of the film. When he read that he would shoot it, he said that one would “hope” that the other person is someone you can “trust,” will “communicate,” and “void of ego.” He found that all “and more” in the pop star-turned-actor.

For My Policeman, David Dawson would laugh with his co-star as takes would end. With four people in the room for the scene, laughing is the “best way to deal with it.”
