It all started when Claire accidentally pushed through time by some standing stones to the year 1743. She previously lived in the year 1945. Claire falls in love with the honorable and dashing Jamie Fraser, and it is a whirlwind from there. They eventually have a daughter that Faith that Claire raises back in her time, but eventually comes back with her mother to the 18th century. No matter how graphic the content of the Starz historical drama series is, it’s been a consistent draw for many viewers.
Season 6 may have been short and left fans wanting more, Season 7 will provide that more. The next season will premiere in 2023.
