The rapper turned actor Megan Thee Stallion will star in the Starz drama television series P-Valley. Her alter ego Tina Snow, will be her character’s name. The rapper already made a voice cameo in episode two; she says, “Run that beat back for a real b***h.” Her music was already featured in Season 1 of the Starz drama series when Mercedes (Brandee Evans) and Autumn Night (Elrica Johnson) are running a scam. Megan Thee Stallion wrote an original song that will play later in Season 2 of P-Valley. The Starz series is based on the play by the Pulitzer Prize-winner Katori Hall. It follows strip club dancers in Mississippi. The series has gained critical acclaim for “authentic trap music and for being a platform to spotlight southern female rappers.” P-Valley has become one of Starz’s most popular series.

The Rapper is Trying Her Hand at Acting

P-Valley is not the first time Megan Thee Stallion has graced the screen. The rapper also starred in. the NBC comedy-drama Good Girls. She was the judge on the HBO series Legendary for two episodes. She also has roles in the film  F**cking Identical Twins and The Best Man Wedding. The rapper is known for the song “Savage” and being featured in the Cardi B song “WAP.” The young artist is now setting her sights on series and movies. There is no official word on how many episodes she’ll be in for the Starz drama series. Her fame has only risen in the past few years, and she has several accolades to show for it. Megan Thee Stallion picked an excellent show guest star with P-Valley. The Starz drama television series already has a dedicated fanbase, and Stallion is just the kind of artist fans would enjoy seeing.
