Activision Blizzard held its annual meeting today, giving shareholders the opportunity to vote on various issues. Naturally, a significant theme in the meeting was the ongoing controversy surrounding the company’s toxic workplace and the failures of leadership in addressing it. Shareholders had the chance to approve the election of Activision Blizzard’s new board of directors and to vote on whether to approve the executive compensation packages. Perhaps most interestingly, they could also vote on whether to act on a proposal from the New York State Comptroller to publish a public report on the company’s efforts to combat discrimination and harassment in its workplace....

While anyone who owns Hitman 3 can access a single Hitman 2 location, Bangkok, for free this season, PlayStation Plus subscribers can add the entire roster of Hitman 2 locations to their game this month. In a series of tweets posted this morning, Avalanche Software announced that the release of their highly anticipated Harry Potter adaptation, Hogwarts Legacy, would be delayed—again. This time for last-gen console owners only. While PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC users can continue to anticipate a release date of February 10, 2023, PS4 and Xbox One players will not be able to play the game until April 4, 2023. The Nintendo Switch version, already known to be on an indefinite delay, was given a release date of July 25, 2023....
