Rudy Mancuso was responsible for writing the script alongside Dan Lagana (American Vandal) and will also head the production of the film’s soundtrack. Regarding Camila Mendes’s involvement in Música, Mancuso is quoted as saying, “I’m beyond excited to have the wildly gifted mind of Camila join this special journey of Música…where we’re telling an authentic Brazilian-American story through the eyes of a synesthete.”
Though Camila Mendes has been confirmed as a producer for the film alongside Mancuso, Lagana, and Wonderland’s Steven Bello, information regarding her specific role in Música has not been released.
