The era of bringing back older TV shows or movies is very much alive. Netflix released the official trailer (seen below) for That ’90s Show, the legacy series of That ’70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006. In the spinoff, we will get a mix of stars from the original sitcom and newcomers to deliver nostalgia and laughs.

The trailer for That ’90s Show gives a glimpse at what to expect for the 10-episode revival, which will copy the style of the original multi-cam sitcom. In the summer of 1995, we follow Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the daughter of Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon), as she experiences Point Place while on a visit to her grandparents, Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith).

Rupp and Smith return for recurring roles. We will get some cameos from That ’70s Show with Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Grace, Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama. They will be joined by newcomers Haverda (The Lost Husband), Mace Coronel (Zoe Valentine), Ashley Aufderheide (Emergence), Reyn Doi (Drama Club), Maxwell Acee Donovan (Gabby Duran & The Unsittables), and Sam Morelos for Morelos’ first major project.

Netflix gives deeper look at That ’90s Show with new Trailer

The upcoming series was created by the minds behind the original series, which was nominated for five Emmys and won one during its run. They all serve as the lead writers of the comedy and executive producers.

Between the teaser trailer and the latest look at That ’90s Show, it should hold audiences until it hits the streamer on January 19, 2023 for its 10-episode run.
