One of the most unbelievable games of 2023 just got delayed. We say unbelievable because we’ve seen trailers that look great, but no hands-on gameplay yet. Many people think the game looks too good to be true, and today’s news seems to reinforce that feeling. The Day Before promises to be a huge survival game with MMO aspects, which looks a lot like DayZ. According to some trailers, the game has a huge map, great graphics, and survival aspects. However, The Day Before got delayed due to some trademark disputes. This has many players thinking that the game wasn’t ready to release at all.

The Day Before gets delayed until November 10, 2023

While we mentioned before that this was one of the most anticipated survival-horror games of the year, we don’t know anymore. So far we’ve seen the announcement trailer, an RTX showcase, more trailers, and that’s it. No one has had the chance to play the game yet and that is usually a red flag in the gaming world. Now, with the news of the game getting delayed, many people who were planning to buy The Day Before are having second thoughts now. While the release might happen this year, faith in the game is diminishing as the lack of gameplay videos continues.

MMO The Day Before Delayed Until 2023 and Switched to Unreal Engine 5

In the official Twitter post, the developers claim that there was a trademark dispute. This is also weird as many companies do the research before naming their games. Apparently, The Day Before name for the game is the reason for the delay, and now we’ll have to wait. In that same post, the developers mention they need to check with lawyers to see if they can show gameplay or not. This is something they also promised a while ago, and we haven’t seen it. And now, many people think we might not see it at all. So yes, it is sad to hear about The Day Before getting delayed, but if it leads to a good product, we’re all in for it.
