Netflix’s The Witcher introduced viewers to perhaps one of the most entertaining bards or all-time with Jaskier. The traveling minstrel, played by Joey Batey, is a master on the lute and his song ‘Toss a Coin to Your Witcher’ is his number one hit. If the Continent gave out gold records, you can bet Jaskier would have plenty to toss at Geralt.
The bard performed the song in the second episode as a way to retell his adventures with Geralt (Henry Cavil) the Witcher. The song was composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli and can be listened to on their Soundcloud. While the lyrics were written by the show’s writer, Jenny Klien.
The show’s version of ‘Toss a Coin to Your Witcher’ may be a smash hit banger, but a remixed version has hit the internet and it’s been turned up to 11.
Someone said Toss A Coin to Your Witcher was a low key banger so I raised the key pic.twitter.com/lub2ci35ly

Kyle Reclaim on Twitter first put together a short version of Jaskier’s song as a way to make it more modern and hip. The upbeat version feels right at home in today’s pop or alternative songs and could quite possibly be the anthem of 2019.
The composer even reached out to the official The Witcher Netflix account to see if Henry Cavil himself wanted to join in. Whoever runs the account saw the tweet and responded back by saying,
Wow. Thanks guys. Did not expect this reaction. ??? https://t.co/LgLH2RkGdx

Just two days later a full version was completed and posted to Twitter.

Now you can have an upbeat and faster version of ‘Toss a Coin to Your Witcher’ in your head.
Eight episodes of The Witcher released on Netflix on December 20, 2019, with a second season coming in 2021.
