This morning on the ‘Uncharted’ movie’s official Twitter page dropped the newest poster for the upcoming release. The ‘Uncharted’ poster immediately draws your eyes to Tom Holland and comes to us a few weeks after a new official trailer for the film was also released on YouTube.

The ‘Uncharted’ poster follows a popular movie poster style we’ve been seeing a lot of and is coined as a “stacked character poster.” This style has been used countless times especially in recent films like Dune and Scream(2022).  In this style (made famous by Star Wars) the characters are usually stacked in a pyramid-esque shape. The characters are also and are usually proportionate to the impact they have in the movie. For instance, the ‘Uncharted’ film’s poster has Tom Holland portrayed as the largest and placed top center. This makes sense as he plays the main character, Nathan Drake. Second largest, we have Mark Wahlberg who plays important co-star ‘Sully’. Going down the hierarchy for the remaining costars featured on the ‘Uncharted’ poster, we have Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle(who you might recognize from YOU Season 3).

Fans of the ‘Uncharted’ video games are excited to see their favorite game series come to the big screen as the ‘Uncharted’ film is based on the PlayStation video game by Naughty Dog. If you’re unfamiliar with the game and the upcoming ‘Uncharted’ film’s plot, Sony has released the following description:

The past few months have been huge for Tom Holland. After the much-anticipated release and success of Spiderman: No Way Home, I’m looking forward to seeing Holland’s future as an actor how different he can be when not playing Peter Parker.  Tom Holland has been a pretty busy man in his 20s and doesn’t have any intentions of really slowing down. Did you know our charismatic jack-of-all-trades is even in the running to host this year’s Oscars ceremony? That’s one performance I’m certainly going to be watching if it happens(fingers crossed)!
