HBO Max is going to have a comedy series called Unfriendly Black Hotties. Keke Palmer, Jermaine Crawford, and Amy Aniobi are the minds behind it. The logline is “comedic satire exploring Gen-Z’s weaponization of political correctness told through the eyes of four high school girls”. Palmer, Crawford, and Aniobi will co-write and executive produce the HBO Max comedy series. Aniobi and Aanch Khaneja will be executive producers of Unfriendly Black Hotties under SuperSpecial Inc. Lenoria Addison will be an executive producer under Boss Entertainment. HBO Max and Entertainment One are producing it. Aniobio has an overall deal with HBO and HBO Max. She is known for her work on Insecure, which she started off as a producer for Season 1. Keke Palmer starred in the film Nope and will star in the film Being Mortal. Jermaine Crawford played in The Wire and We Own This City on HBO.

She will wear her executive producer hat for the HBO Max comedy series Unfriendly Black Hotties. She’s combining forces with Jermaine Crawford and Amy Aniobi. She always has a new project this upcoming comedy series for HBO Max is not her only project in the works. Just like her character on the series True Jackson, VP, knows how to get work. She has starred in front of the camera for cable television but being an executive producer on it is new. The comedy series Unfriendly Black Hotties shows that Keke Palmer is invested in funding young talent as well. She is in good company with Amy Aniobi on her team.
