Emilia Jones has her next project lined up, and it’s the Susanna Fogel film Winner. ShivHans Pictures and 1Community are financing the dark-comedy biopic. It tells the story of a former U.S. Air Force member and NSA contractor that leaked an intelligence report on Russian interference with the 2016 election. They served five and a half years, charged under the Espionage Act. It’s the longest sentencing for someone charged under the act. The ShivHans Pictures dark-comedy biopic is described as a “fresh take on the traditional whistleblower thriller.” The film is based on Kerry Howley’s 2017 New York Magazine feature. The executive producers include Dani Melia, Peter Saraf, Daniel Bekerman, Connor Flanagan, and Big Beach Films. Emilia Jones will play Reality Winner, the main role, alongside Connie Britton, Zach Galifianakis, Danny Ramirez, and Kathryn Newton. Fogel strives to make films that “interrogate the world we live in”.
‘CODA’ Has Launched the Career of Emilia Jones

The actor will also star in the film Cat Person, with Fogel as the director. For fans of the Netflix adaptation series Locke & Key, Emilia Jones is a familiar face. CODA however has brought Jones further acclaim. The ShivHans Pictures dark-comedy biopic Winner has Jones playing a lead once again. This is another opportunity to show critics her range.
